Cream of Mattar Paneer

Ingredients:

1 tbs butter
2 red onions
1/2 cup tomato puree
1 tsp garlic paste
1/2 packet frozen peas (about 1 cup)
1 tsp ginger paste
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1-1/2 cup heavy cream
salt to taste
pepper to taste

Method:

Heat butter in a pan. Put garlic & ginger paste and stir for 2 minutes.
Put finely chopped onions and stir till golden brown.
Add tomato puree and cook for about 4-5 minutes.
Add turmeric powder, salt, pepper, & garam masala and mix all of them.
Pour heavy cream to the above mixture and stir constantly till the mixture leaves the surface of the pan.
Cut paneer into desired size cubes and fry them at high flame and cool it for few minutes.
In meantime, add peas (mattar) to the gravy and cook for few minutes.
Add fried panner to the above.
Pour it in serving dish and garnish with green coriander & little bit of cream.

This goes well with naan or pullao.
